Kwame Ture

Kwame Ture (b. Stokely Carmichael; June 29, 1941 – d. November 15, 1998) was a prominent organizer in the civil rights movement in the US and global Pan-African movement. He was a key leader in the development of the Black Power movement, leader  of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), Honorary Prime Minister of the Black Panther Party, and leader of the All-African People's Revolutionary Party.
